The Four-Piece Treasure Map

A Hundred-Year-Old Truth Behind the Treasure

Episode 1 — A Small Accident Ongoing

On the edge of a busy city street stood a small pizza shop. Its name was "Bella Pizza." The place wasn't much to look at — a tiny kitchen, a handful of tables out front, and above the door, neatly painted—

"Fresh Pizza, Fresh Smile."

The owner of the shop was Supriya, twenty-six or so. Simple clothes, a simple life. From taking orders at the counter to making the pizzas herself in the kitchen, she had a hand in everything. When it was needed, she even rode her scooter to deliver pizzas door to door.

But no one in the city knew who Supriya really was. She was, in fact, the only daughter of Arindam Chowdhury, one of the country's biggest businessmen. Her father's empire was vast — companies across the country and abroad, sprawling factories, countless employees. There was nothing they lacked.

After finishing her MBA abroad and returning home, her father had wanted her to join the family business directly. But Supriya had other plans. One day she told him—

— "Baba, I don't want to sit in your business right now."

Arindam had asked, startled—

— "Then what do you want to do?"

Supriya had smiled and said—

— "I want to start something of my own. On my own name, by my own effort."

— "What kind of business?"

— "A pizza business."

Her father had thought at first she was joking. But Supriya was serious.

— "Give me two years. I won't use your name, I won't take any help from your business. I want to build this with my own two hands."

Arindam had looked at his daughter for a long moment. In the end, he'd agreed.

And that was how Supriya's new life began. For two years now, she had kept her real identity hidden while running Bella Pizza. Today, to the world, she wasn't an industrialist's daughter. She was simply—

Supriya, owner of Bella Pizza.

The Evening Delivery

That evening, the shop was fairly crowded. Orders kept coming in, one after another. A staff member came up and said—

— "Didi, there's one home delivery left."

Supriya glanced at the clock.

— "All right. I'll take it myself."

Within minutes, she had the pizza box strapped to the back of her scooter and was on her way. Evening lights were coming on along both sides of the street. Supriya rode slowly. Suddenly, a bicycle shot out from a lane up ahead.

A crash!

Supriya braked instantly. The bicycle went down at the side of the road, and the boy riding it fell with it. She stopped her scooter quickly and ran over.

— "Are you all right?"

The boy tried to sit up. His elbow was hurt, and blood was running from his knee.

— "Yes... I'm fine."

Supriya said, worried—

— "Are you sure? You're bleeding!"

The boy glanced down at his knee and gave a faint smile.

— "It's nothing."

— "Nothing? You're hurt badly!"

Supriya helped him up, then said—

— "Come on, let's get you to a hospital."

The boy shook his head at once.

— "No, there's no need."

— "Why not?"

— "You'll be late."

Supriya looked at him, surprised.

— "Late for what?"

The boy nodded toward the pizza box on the back of her scooter.

— "You must be on a delivery. Someone's waiting for you."

Supriya fell quiet for a moment. Even after getting hurt like this, he was thinking about her delivery!

— "But what about your injury?"

— "I'll take care of it myself."

— "Are you sure?"

— "Completely. Don't worry about it."

Supriya turned her attention to his bicycle.

— "Let me at least move the cycle out of the way first."

The boy said quickly—

— "No, I'll take the cycle myself."

— "In this state?"

— "Yes."

— "You can barely walk properly!"

The boy pulled himself up, holding onto the handlebars.

— "I can't just leave the cycle here."

Supriya studied him for a moment. There was a strange stubbornness in the way he said it. In the end, she didn't push any further.

She pulled a card for her pizza shop out of her bag and handed it to him. It read—

Below it, the shop's address and phone number. Supriya said—

— "My name is Supriya. If anything's wrong, give me a call."

The boy looked at the card, then at her.

— "This is your shop?"

— "Yes."

— "You're the owner?"

Supriya smiled softly.

— "Yes, just a small shop."

The boy tucked the card carefully into his pocket.

— "All right. But honestly, I really will take care of this myself."

Supriya glanced once more at his injury.

— "Fine. But don't neglect it."

— "I won't."

Supriya got on her scooter. Before starting the engine, she said once more—

— "Ride safe."

The boy smiled.

— "You too."

Supriya rode off. Glancing once in her rear-view mirror, she saw the boy still standing there with his bicycle. Then, as the road curved away, he passed out of sight.

The boy's name was Kanchan. Supriya didn't know it yet — how large a place this small accident would come to hold in her life.

And Kanchan didn't know it either — that the girl who had stopped to help him on the roadside and then ridden away was, in truth, far more than the owner of Bella Pizza.

Today, for the first time, their two paths had crossed for a single moment. But this meeting wasn't the end — it was only where their story would begin.
